Hehe
Spent the last two days in Singapore
One of daddy's friends invited us for dinner and stay over in his house
We went there at 12++
There was a lil traffic jam in the Singapore Custom
But
Its just for a while
We headed to Centrepoint in Orchard Road since it's still early
As usual
Orchard road was packed full of people
Seems like nobody cares about H1N1 anymore
Although that morning there were another few cases found in Singapore!
Seems like Singaporean are not as "kiasi" though
Lolz
So
Basically
Centrepoint
Hmm
There was the GST Absorbed sale in Robinsons
But
Merchandise sold there were those international brands
Such as LeSportsac, Prada...
And kitchen wares
And bedsheets
Obviously, my mum was on cloud nine
And we were on cloud negative nine
Zzz
Left there at about 6++
Thank GOD!!!
And headed to Orchid Country Club
Daddy didn't know how to go
So he just took a risk and simply go
Haha
And we finally got lost
And mummy had to call for help

The country club is situated in the north, in Yishun
But daddy went the other way
Which will lead us to Changi Airport

Luckily
We found it and reached there on time
Orchird Country Club is
Huge
And clean
There is 2 swimming pools
Tennis court
Squash court
Bowling Alley
Restauraurants
Lounge
Hotel......
And of course the driving range
How can a country club miss this??
According to Aunty Penny
The reason this club is so clean and huge
Is because it's a government country club and
Goh Chok Tong and many other polititions in Singapore always went there to play golf
Thats why!
Oh yeah
And I think i saw the Singapore Bowling team practicing in the bowling Alley
OMG
Honestly, they are incredibly pro!
(That's for sure)
Their throw were incredibly powerful
Even if you look them play also feel very "shiok"

Orchid Country Club's lobby
So we went to the Peach Garden to have our dinner
We had
Peking Duck
Tasteless
Sharks fin soup
Quite different from the one we usually had
It was per bowl for per person
And the sharks fin was only cut into pieces and not shreded
Taste different to
I prefer the one we usually ate

There were japanese tofu, "bayam" and I don't know already

I can say that it's the only dish i think is delicious

Neither cruncy nor spicy
Black pepper duck

Some of them ordered desserts
But i didn't
Too full already
I think it's because laughed too much
Uncle Lim was very funny
He even showed us how to taste wine

His a very experienced and wise man
And of course
Filthy rich
He went to like
90++countries in the whole wide world
He even went to places like North Pole, Amazon River, Ethiopia...!
The whole dinner costed S$800++
After 15% discount
Because Uncle Lim paid using I dunno
Some kind of card
To me, It's kind of not very worth it

It's a new restaurant
And none of us ever tried before

And i think that's the reason why
there were only one or two tables occupied at that time

Then
We went back to Uncle Bernard's house
It's a Semi-d in Sembawang
The house's design is quite nice and unique
They build themselves
His daughter was back from Scottland since its their summer hols
According to her, they only have to study for 6 months
And 6 months off
So nice!!!!
His son is still in manchester
Sitting for exam
His daughter open Sims3 for us to play
OMG
I'm going to buy Sims3!

The adults were chatting upstairs
Next day
Went Sin Ming Road eat Bak Kut Teh
Usually I eat Bak Kut Teh
Didn't eat the meat
Only eat the "youtiao" put inside the soup
And the vege's

Weird huh?
And i don't eat the chillies also

Then
Went to visit Uncle Teng in Woodlands
He's very very old
Around 86
But he still smoke a lot
And the worst part is
He smoke cigarettes that don't have filters

OMG
Headed home at around 12++
Becoz the causeway was in a heavy traffic
Daddy decided to drive back via 2nd link
According to the hotline
The traffic was smooth
But
You know what?
After the Singapore Custom
About 3km from Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar aka the Malaysia custom
There was this heavy heavy HEAVY traffic that trapped us for 3 hours!!

Uncle Bernard, his wife, Aunty Penny and family, Uncle Lim
Although they are very very rich
But they are really friendly
And they were never arrogant
And proud
And looked don on people
They still eat in hawker centre
They still make friends with a lot of people from all walks of life
I think thats one of the important things we need to learn in our life
